27 pupils – more than a quarter - achieved eight or more 9 or 8 grades, both equivalent to an A* under the old grading criteria.

A further 46 achieved eight or more 9/8/7 grades, equivalent to an A*/A.

Headmaster David EJJ Lloyd said: “This year’s results represent another excellent achievement by our pupils, not least given the new system of grading.

“My congratulations go to all of our students, along with the staff, for their hard work and dedication.”
