Paul was appointed to the Board of Governors in 2013. He is chairman of the Endowment Property Sub Committee and is also a member of the Building Sub Committee and Share Investment Sub Committee. Paul attended Solihull between 1969 and 1977 (Shenstone). Paul is a Chartered Surveyor and Company Director working in private practice and is an arbitrator, independent expert and accredited mediator in his specialist market sector. Paul is married and lives in Knowle and has three children; Rebecca, Hannah and Joshua (all former Solihull pupils). Paul’s interests are sailing, golf, rugby and music.
Nick was appointed a Governor in 2024. He is Priest-in-Charge of Solihull Parish, leading on parish-wide vision and strategy across the church communities of St. Alphege, St. Michael’s, and St. Helen’s. He is also an Oversight Minister, responsible for fostering collaborative working amongst the six Anglican churches in the centre of the borough. Nick is a Governor for the Federation of St. Alphege Schools, and member of the Diocesan Board of Education, chairing the subcommittee which provides guidance to church schools on Collective Worship, RE and Ethos. He is married with two children who attend Solihull School. His interests include music and exploring the great outdoors.
Chris was appointed a Governor in January 2024. He is an Old Silhillian (Windsor) who attended Solihull School between 1983 and 1988. His initial career was as an infantry officer in the Coldstream Guards for twelve years. Following this, Chris has been Chief Executive of businesses in various sectors including parking, serviced offices, recruitment and training. He currently works for a listed Swedish Investment firm where his role is to Chair and manage portfolio companies. He is also Chair of Leycroft Academy which is a primary special school for children with a diagnosis of autism. Chris is married with grown up children and his interests include sailing and most outdoor activities.
